APS18 Partner Programme

The APS Partner Programme is an opportunity for the “better halves” of exhibitors and attendees to relax and enjoy a VIP experience in the fun-tastic city of Amsterdam on Tuesday 13 November, 2018. This is an exclusive day exploring everything Amsterdam has to offer from gastronomic delights, historical sites.

APS18 Partner Programme Schedule
9am – 9.30am – Breakfast
Meet at the APS Partner Programme breakfast at the offical APS hotel for light refreshments. Guests will receive a welcome gift on arrival.

10am – 2.30pm – Walking tour of Amsterdam
Full to bursting with delicious hotspots, the APS Partner Programme tour has been specifically designed to make sure that you revel in all the tasty morsels that this fantastic city has to offer as well as understand the fascinating history of this European hub.

See the highlights in the old town of Amsterdam such as canals, canal houses, Dam square, Rembrandt Square, the well-known Bloemenmarkt or Flower Market, red light district, Jordaan, Jewish quarter and much more! You will go off the beaten track for hidden treasures only known by locals such as the lovely hidden gardens and residential courts, picturesque streets and bustling markets.

You will hear tales about why Amsterdam is such a liberal city nowadays and how it is related to the city’s golden age (17th century) in particular.

All the history will be washed down with local specialties including the best apple pie in town, a Dutch beer and real Dutch ‘bitterballen’ in an old ‘brown’ café. If you are brave enough you can also try the very popular Dutch snack, raw herring on the street! Smakelijk!

You are then free to explore the rest of Amsterdam at your leisure.
